The Friends of Samuel Smith House and Property, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The mission of Friends of Samuel Smith House and Property, Inc. is to restore, maintain and preserve the house and property as a living museum of 18th and 19th century Connecticut farm life. The Farmstead is owned by the Town of East Lyme and is overseen by the Friends of Samuel Smith House and Property, Inc. Membership is open to anyone who wishes to support its mission.
We invite you to join other like-minded volunteers at the historic Samuel Smith Farmstead c1748, helping at events, get out in the fresh air while working in our colonial herb and flower garden, meet new friends.
We are an all-volunteer, tax deductible 501C(3) organization. The Farmstead is dependent on the generous donations of its supporters who are devoted to the preservation of its buildings and grounds.
Membership in Friends of Samuel Smith House and Property, Inc. helps to preserve and maintain the House and Property of the Samuel Smith Farmstead. Your membership is vital to our success as a volunteer organization.
